Do you have great analytical skills and a genuine interest in sustainability, finance, and investments? Do you want to work for a purpose-driven organisation? We are currently looking for an Investment Manager for our Circular Plastics Investments Team.
KIRKBI Climate addresses global climate challenges by investing in and building high-impact businesses rooted in KIRKBI’s purpose of building a better future for generations to come. KIRKBI Climate focuses on driving impact by addressing two of the biggest global climate issues of our time: Climate change and pollution from non-sustainable plastic materials.
Global plastic consumption is on track to triple by 2060 and predominantly comes from virgin, fossil-based feedstock such as oil and gas. This trajectory exacerbates CO2e emissions and environmental pollution. The Circular Plastics team is part of KIRKBI Climate and exists to invest in businesses that develop and scale circular plastics solutions to reduce CO2e emissions and avoid virgin plastics. Our strategy focuses on investments such as plastic recycling, CO2 or bio-based plastic, and enabling equipment and technologies.
