We are looking for a student assistant for our tax team. This position is a great opportunity to develop your personal and professional skills-set while getting real “on-the-job” training and exposure to key tax elements – in an organisation promoting continuous learning and development for all colleagues.
You will become an integral and valued member of the KIRKBI Group tax team and work with many different aspects of tax, both direct and indirect tax, in collaboration with other members of the team and the organisation. You will support in all day-to-day tax work
You will be supporting in all day-to-day tax work across our organisation. This entails e.g. keeping up with recurring compliance tasks, legalisation of documents, monitoring and reviewing new legislative and regulatory initiatives, assisting with audits, inquiries and litigations and working with external advisors and tax authorities.
Your key tasks include:
- Support Group reporting workstreams in projects, incl. CbC-reporting, Global tax footprint and CSRD inputs.
- Assist on tax filing incl. year-end reporting assistance.
- Data collection for internal projects and preparation of presentation materials for internal stakeholders.
- Support the tax team during M&A processes.
- Various ad-hoc assignments related to deal screening selection, portfolio management and other administrative tasks.
Value driven student with an analytic mindset and curious of nature
You are keen to learn and genuinely interested in the field of tax. With an analytical mindset and good attention to detail, you enjoy diving into complex topics. Your curiosity motivates you to explore the world around you, and your optimistic outlook helps you approach challenges with enthusiasm.
Furthermore, you are:
- In your final year of your bachelor’s degree or the first year of your master’s degree e.g. in Tax, Finance, Law or Audit
- Fluent in Danish and English (written and spoken)
- Capable of taking ownership of tasks and workstreams and thrives with responsibility
- Solid experience with Excel
- PowerPoint and MS Business Central knowledge is beneficial
The position is 10-20 hours a week working from either our Billund or Copenhagen office with flexibility during holiday and exam periods. As your direct reference is mainly located in Billund – regular trips to Billund are expected.
