Tax business partner driving value across the KIRKBI Group
KIRKBI A/S is the holding company of the LEGO Group and other companies owned by the Kirk Kristiansen family. As part of the CFO organisation in KIRKBI Holding, the tax team supports all business units in the KIRKBI Group with an agile team of three experienced tax experts and in close collaboration with tax teams in individual group companies. We play an essential role in the growth of the businesses by helping to navigate challenges in an ever-changing tax landscape.

International tax support for Real Estate and KIRKBI Climate
As tax business partner in the tax team, you will act as a partner for both the Real Estate department in KIRKBI Holding as well as KIRKBI Climate. Further, you will take on the role of key process owner for the KIRKBI Group Transfer pricing set-up and certain reporting responsibilities.
KIRKBI’s Real Estate portfolio focuses on high-quality office properties across Europe, targeting long-term stable returns through two approaches: investing in high-quality existing properties and pursuing sustainable redevelopment opportunities with long-term value potential. KIRKBI Climate is a separate business area in KIRKBI, which plays an active role in addressing global climate change by investing in and building high-impact businesses focused on energy transition, circular plastics and land sustainability.
You will be supporting projects in Denmark and internationally, including locations such as Switzerland, Germany, the UK, and the USA.
Your key tasks include:
- Act as tax business partner for Real Estate and KIRKBI Climate - both businesses operating globally
- Manage transfer pricing and OECD Pillar II compliance activities for the Group in close collaboration with the local tax teams in the business units
- Advice on Transfer Pricing structures and business development within Real Estate and Climate
- Contribute to the preparation of tax filings for the KIRKBI Group incl. year-end reporting
- Various ad-hoc assignments related to deal screening selection and portfolio management
- Participate in projects across our business and act as a first point-of-contact for tax inquiries from internal stakeholders
- Engage in dialogue with relevant tax authorities
Experienced and business-oriented professional with international focus
We’re looking for a candidate with solid experience in transfer pricing and international corporate taxation, gained through roles in private industry, consultancy, or tax authorities—either in Denmark or abroad. Your educational background is probably a degree in tax, finance, law or audit. Alternatively relevant training from employment with tax authorities.
You can also identify with the following qualifications:
- Good general understanding of financial, accounting and legal matters and how this interacts with and supports the business
- A proficient problem-solver with keen attention to detail, capable of analysing and dissecting complex financial data and deriving valuable insights
- A skilled communicator, who can make complex tax legislation and potential issues understandable for colleagues and stakeholders
- An outgoing and business-oriented approach, working well with a diverse range of stakeholders and building trusted professional relationships
- A team-oriented mindset, contributing to a positive and engaging workplace culture
- Fluent in English (written and spoken). Proficiency in the German language is beneficial
Work location
You can be based out of our Danish offices in either Billund or Copenhagen.
